Do's & Don'ts
Do not share your own CELF dermal micro-vibration tool with anyone else to reduce the risk of any potential cross-contamination.
Dispose and replace the head after 3 months of use.
Only use the CELF dermal micro-vibration device on skin and avoid sensitive areas such as lips and within the orbital rim of the eye.
CELF dermal micro-vibration therapy should not be undertaken in the following circumstances :
- Active acne
- Herpes labialis or any other local infection, such as warts
- Moderate to severe chronic skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis
- Blood dyscrasias, patients on anticoagulant therapy
- Extreme keloidal tendency
- Chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- Known allergies to skin treatment products or cosmetics, toiletries, and/or topical drugs
- Sun burn, recent tattoos, or local skin damage such as cuts or grazes
- Currently, we are using topically applied prescription medications in the treatment area
- I have had chemical peels, dermabrasions, or facial cosmetic surgery within the last six months
- Pregnant and breast-feeding women should consult their physician before starting CELF dermal micro-vibration treatment
If even the smallest doubt exists concerning safety, do not start CELF dermal micro-vibration therapy or interrupt treatment immediately.
